Metal can also represent cutting metal or a knife and it can be destructive through these things. Gold and white are the colors that symbolize metal as well as the direction to the west. Metal is known to symbolize the adult years of the human life.

The very last of the Feng Shui elements is water, referred to as Shui within the Chinese language. Among the Feng Shui elements, water plays a very important role, and the name of Feng Shui also contains its own name within it, meaning wind and water. Mainly, water represents traveling and communications, however it can also represent arts, learning and media.
